Clint (Willem Dafoe) is a man scarred by life. In order to finally find his inner peace he has retreated to a lonely cabin in the snowy mountains. There he runs a small café, which is rarely visited by travelers or locals. But even in seclusion Clint finds no peace. One fateful evening, he sets off on his dog sled, driven by the hope to find his true self. A journey through his dreams, memories and fantasies begins.
